Tournament Status

The tournament website will behave and display differently based on the tournament’s status.

• If there is no active tournament, then a coming soon page will be displayed.

• If a tournament is active, then the tournament landing page will display all active tournaments.

Types of Tournaments

Private tournaments for non-eligible players

URL format: https://mgr.basebit.net/#/tournament?contentCode=tournament:code:{tournamentCode}&lang={LangCode}&currency={currencyCode}

1. The player will only be able to view the one specified tournament.

2. If the tournament supports the indicated language, the player will see the tournament details.

3. If the tournament does not support the indicated language, the player will see an empty page.

4. The currency code must be provided, as some private tournaments support multiple currencies. The player should ensure the correct currency code is selected to be directed to the appropriate tournament.

Private and public tournaments for eligible players

URL format: https://mgr.basebit.net/#/tournament/listing/?contentCode=current&lang={LangCode}&platform=Desktop&token={token}

1. Public Tournament - The player will see all the tournaments available for their currency.

2. Private Tournament - The player will see the tournament available for their Headoffice.

3. If the player selects a language in the language selector that the tournament does not support, they will see an empty page. Otherwise, they will see the tournament details.

Private tournament with expanded card for eligible players

Sometimes, “isPrivate=True” is included when calling the tournament API. In this case, the player will see this private tournament and the other tournaments of his currency on the page, but the card of the specific private tournament will be expanded. Other logic is the same as the normal flow for eligible players.

Public Tournaments for non-eligible players

The language code and currency included in the URL enables businesses to precisely direct and promote specific tournaments.

The currency code determines what tournaments will be shown on the page. The language determines the language in the language selector and the translation of the content.

Use Cases

Use Case 1

• Given that Tournament A supports KRW and CNY:

  • The mapped language of KRW is Korean and CNY is Chinese. So, the content available for this tournament is Korean, Chinese and English.

  • All tournaments are available in English even though they might not support USD.

• When the user uses this url https://mgr.basebit.net/#/tournament/listing?lang=ko-kr&currency=krw , they will be directed to the tournament page and:

  • see Korean in the language selector

  • see the details of Tournament A

• When the user changes the language to “Chinese” in the language selector, they will see the details of the Tournament A in Chinese.

• When the user changes the language to “Japanese” in the language selector, they will see an empty page in ja-jp.

• If the player wants to view tournaments of other currencies, they can change the parameters in the url.

  • For example, if they want to see the tournaments of IDR, they can change the url as follows: https://mgr.basebit.net/#/tournament/listing?lang=zh-cn&currency=idr

Use Case 2: Indicated language code only or indicated a wrong currency code in the url

• The player will see the tournaments of the mapped currency of the indicated language code.

  • For example, players will see USD tournaments using https://mgr.basebit.net/#/tournament/listing?lang=en-us

Use Case 3: Indicated currency code only or indicated a wrong language code

• The player will see the tournaments of the mapped language of the indicated currency code.

  • For example, players will see USD tournaments in English using https://mgr.basebit.net/#/tournament/listing?currency=usd

Use Case 4: No language and currency codes

• The player will see the USD tournaments in English https://mgr.basebit.net/#/tournament/listing
