User Roles

Role

Description

Creating the Account

Super Admin

  • Super Admin accounts can access both the Customer Hub CMS and the external site.

  • Super Admin accounts can access the account management function.

  1. Access the CMS and login via Okta to create an Internal account.

  2. Another Super Admin level user will need to edit the account by changing the account's Role from Internal to Super Admin. For more information, refer to the Edit a User page.

Admin

  • Admin accounts can access both the Customer Hub CMS and the external site.

  • Admin accounts can access the account management function.

  1. Access CMS and login via Okta to create an Internal account.

  2. Another Super Admin/Admin level user will need to edit the account by changing the account's Role from Internal to Admin. For more information, refer to the Edit a User page.

Internal

  • Internal accounts can access both the Customer Hub CMS and the external site.

  • Internal accounts do not have access to the management functions under Account.

Access CMS and login via Okta to create an Internal account.

Streamer

  • Streamer is a type of user account that gives access to the external site.

  • Streamer accounts do not have access to the Customer Hub CMS.

  • Streamer accounts can play games using the demo game link generated in URL Management.

Only Super Admin/Admin level users can create Streamer accounts by using the Role drop-down menu while creating a new user. For more information, refer to the Create a New User page.

Player

  • Player is a type of user account that gives access to the external site.

  • Player accounts do not have access to the Customer Hub CMS.

  • Player accounts can play games using the demo game link generated in URL Management.

Only Super Admin/Admin level users can create Player accounts by using the Role drop-down menu while creating a new user. For more information, refer to the Create a New User page.

Functionally, Streamer and Player accounts are identical; the differing labels are purely a marketing distinction for easier identification.

Log In Process

Super Admin, Admin and Internal Users

Log in by clicking the MG Asia / M2Play button in the CMS.

Streamer and Player Users

Log in by going to external site and clicking the silhouette button.

Fill in the login ID and password fields.

The account and password is generated by Super Admins/Admins in the CMS.
