Adding a Home Banner to the External Site

The home banner serves to attract and engage visitors to the website with its rotating carousel of banners, displaying relevant information and promotions.

Visitors to the site can click on the bottom left dots to navigate to specific banners of interest.

Manage Home Banners

Up to five banners can be set for display on the home page.

Two versions can be set for each banner - the top banner for desktop view and the bottom banner for mobile view.

Each banner can also have a URL linked to it. This is not a requirement.

Add Banners

  1. In the Customer Hub CMS, click Home to open the menu and access the Home Banner page.

  2. Click the language tab that corresponds to the language of the banner you want to add.

  3. Click the Edit Banner button.

  4. Click the Add Banner button. If five banners are already set, you will need to remove one before setting a new one.

  5. The Media Library will pop up. Utilize the tabs at the top of the modal to navigate to the appropriate category.

    1. Use the search bar to search for the banner by its name.

    2. The pagination at the bottom of the modal can be used to navigate through the entries.

    3. Click the sort by drop down menu to sort the list data in newest or oldest order.

  6. Select the banner by clicking on it. Up to 5 banners can be selected at once. You must add the desktop banner first before adding the corresponding mobile banner. Click the Add button to confirm your selection, or click the Cancel button to be redirected back to the Edit Banner page.

  7. Once the desktop banner has been added, click the section below it (denoted by the plus sign) to add the mobile variant.

  8. Click on the URL field to set the destination of the banner link when clicked on the external site. This field can also be left blank.

  9. When you’re done with adding your banner, click the Publish button at the bottom of the page to save the changes. A modal will pop up - click Confirm to save your changes and to be redirected back to the Home Banner page. If you want to go back to the Home Banner page without saving your changes, click Cancel.

Edit the Banner Sequence and URL

  1. In the Customer Hub CMS, click Home to open the menu and access the Home Banner page.

  2. Click the language tab that corresponds to the language of the banner you want to modify.

  3. Click the Edit Banner button.

  4. The following actions can be performed:

    1. To change the order of the carousel banners, click and drag the reorder icon for the respective banner to adjust its position within the list.

    2. Click on the URL field to change the destination of the banner link when clicked on the external site. This field can also be left blank.

  5. When you’re done with editing, click the Publish button at the bottom of the page to save the changes. A modal will pop up - click Confirm to save your changes and to be redirected back to the Home Banner page. If you want to go back to the Home Banner page without saving your changes, click Cancel.

Delete a Banner

  1. On the MG Asia Customer Hub internal site, click Home to open the menu and access the Home Banner page.

  2. Click the language tab that corresponds to the language of the banner you want to delete.

  3. Click the rubbish bin icon for the corresponding banner that you want to delete. A modal will pop up - click Cancel to dismiss the modal or Confirm to delete the banner.
