Assigning Agents to Custom Templates — System Admin / Head Office

A Head Office can be assigned to multiple templates, but each Agent can only be assigned to one template.

Default Template Logic

Kiosk templates are visible only to Kiosk Agents during the assignment process.

  • When a new Kiosk Agent is created, a lobby is automatically created, and the agent is assigned to the default template.

  • To assign to a different template, follow the Head Office Settings instructions in Create and Edit a Custom Template.

  • In the Default column, select the radio button for the template you want to set as the Head Office's default. This template will be automatically assigned to any new Agents.

Non-Kiosk templates are visible only to Non-Kiosk Agents during the assignment process.

  • When a new Non-Kiosk Agent is created, a lobby is not automatically created.

  • A lobby is only created under two circumstances:

    • API-Triggered Lobby Creation:

      • When an operator uses the Session API to create a lobby URL, a new lobby is created.

      • This new lobby is automatically assigned the default Non-Kiosk template associated with the Agent.

    • Manual Lobby Creation:

      • When a user selects a Non-Kiosk Agent and saves their template assignment on the Assign Template page, a new lobby is created.

      • In the backend, this process functions the same way as API-triggered creation, but it is executed through the MG+ Backoffice frontend.

  •  In the Default column, select the radio button for the template you want to set as the Head Office's default. This template will be automatically assigned to any new Agents.
